Medical Treatment

In and around Hua Hin you can find some very good and modern medical treatments with English speaking doctors and nurses. The “San Paolo Hospital” for example is only a few minutes away from the apartments. The “Bangkok Hospital”, opened in 2010 and located on Petchkasem Road, is another possibility. For your trip to Thailand we recommend you to make an extra health insurance that covers your oversea trips.

Purchases & Food

You will find the biggest selection of diverse products at TESCO market (open from 10:00 AM until 10:00 PM), which is situated at the ground floor of the shopping mall “Market Village”. At “Villa Market”, which is within walking distance to complex Baan Saenploen, the merchants sell really fresh and also some European food as well as they offer a wide range of wine. All other daily necessities you will find e.g. in “7 Eleven Stores” (open 24 hours per day).

Domestic flights

If you need a flight to Bangkok, please do not hesitate to contact us. It would be our pleasure to help you. Daily prices and availabilities of different airlines you can find at their internet portals for example McFlight, Opodo etc.

Airport Taxes

Please notice that for your departure an Airport Tax has to be paid in cash (THB 500,- = approximately EUR 11,- per person). Credit cards or other foreign currency will not be accepted.

Internet

At the apartments in complexes Baan Seanploen and Baan Saendao the internet access (WLAN) is included in your rent. In complex Baan Saensaran you can use the free WLAN at the lobby.

220 V – in our apartments you don’t need an adapter.

Telephone

You can use your mobile phone without any problems. In and around the apartments you also get a good signal. But please do not forget to contact your provider about the payment details.

Transfers

If that is your wish, we also can help you to organize a transfer from or to Bangkok (between hotel and airport). An air-conditioned mini-bus with capacity of maximum 6 person with a driver and a German speaking guide cost about EUR 95,- per trip (Update May 2013).

Visa

Germans and Austrians who have a passport which is at least 6 months valid, don’t need a visa. Without a visa your stay can be maximum 30 days. An extension for another 15 days can be done easily in Hua Hin if necessary. Travelers from different nationalities or if you want to stay longer than 45 days, please contact the responsible consulate.

Between March and June the humidity is approximately70%, between July and October about 80% and between November and February 65%. In the raining season between July and Ocotber, there will be a little bit of rain in Hua Hin. But not a heavy rain like in other regions of Thailand. The rainfall takes about 30 to 60 minutes. After this the sun will return. So Hua Hin can be travelled the whole year.

Payment

A deposit of 20% of the rent is due upon confirmation / signing of the contract. The final payment must done 14 days prior to arrival.
